This from a poster who on another thread says she really wants to be wrong...honestly, tell us what you really think.

I am fairly sure I will be reported for just asking this poster to be clear. I don't intend to be insulting. I just want to know what the posters true feelings are. Does she really want to be wrong? Is she interested in an improved future for us all or simply playing the politics of destruction so she can say I told you so?

From another thread same poster.

Correct you are... they weren't called the COUNTER culture for no reason.

Well look...I really want to be wrong...let's see how things go. Any statements I am making will be an "I was wrong" or it will be "I told you so."

Well it's like I said in other posts...we can have a coup with our vote. They way I see it, it's the DEM voters who have to have their eyes opened. when that happenes you will see congress get thrown overboard...en masse.

I keep saying I hope I'm wrong but if not, there will be a revolt in the next election....and DEMS will be on the butt end of it.

No one should be that loyal to a party when they get too arrogant. DEMS are not above the frey. We all need to keep our eyes opened & see realities for what they are if we want to get back our govt.

I think the first thing he will do is put all his focus on the ancient past issues of slavery, racizm, and the black panthers not where it is suposed to be which is leading this country and protecting it. Just his name is bad enough. Well you got what you wanted now lets see what happends.

Oh, Lynn, I am so sick and tired of her bashing everyone, calling everyone liars, and cheats, and murderers (or potential murderers) and lunatics, etc. I'm just starting to report her posts without even bothering to respond. She is insulting, mean, and just a nasty, vile woman (and I use that term lightly). At this point, I am so sick and tired of her, they can go ahead and ban me for what I just said.

what is the first thing you think he will do?
What is the first thing you would LIKE him to do?

He should work on the economy since the bail out is costing billions and that will affect many programs . Also he should bring the troops from both Iraq and Afghanistan because these two wars are very expensive , futile , unnecessarily . He should have an investigation regarding the tragic events of 9/11 as many people around the world think it was the work of the government to justify invading and making colonies . For example General Clark says in his book that just after 9/11 ; **** Cheney told people that the US was planning to attack over ten Muslim countries such as Iraq , Iran , Syria , Sudan , Somalia , ....etc . Of course the Bush Administration will leave a real mess and it takes the Democrats a lot of hard work to even straighten some of this huge mess .

Have sex in the oval office devil pitchfork laugh
It better be with his wife

I would think that would be a private issue between him and his wife flowerforyou
IT'S NOT A PRIVATE ISSUE. In the military you can be discharged for having an affair with anyone.

Well, this isn't the military, thankfully. I'm sorry to disagree but while sleeping with someone other than his wife is a matter between husband and wife only. If it doesn't interfere with the running of the country, it's none of my business or yours who he ****s or where or when
I was waiting for someone to say that. BUT YES HE IS. The president hold the HIGHEST MILITARY POSTION OF THE LAND. There for YES it is my business

The President is not in the military. It's part of the system of checks and balances built into our government.
If he runs the country fine who he boinks does not matter to me.It is a non issue
As another poster said,I am hoping he will focus on the economy and getting it going.

Funny thing, most of the past century they usedto have to vote in republicans to end wars started by democrats.... (Korea, Vietnam)

We should not blind ourselves by blaming one party. Both are guilty, and until onesees that, he or she is brainwashed.

Democrats.... Clinton started more wars than Bush... Doesn't seem like it does it? It is true.
Clinton's wars:

Somalia
Haiti
Iraq (Desert Fox)
Iraq (Ongoing bombing)
Afghanistan
Sudan
Yugoslavia

His death toll is almost as high as Bush's too.

Federal spending:

Increased 35% under Clinton

(And 45% under "conservative" Bushgrumble )

The dems pushed pretty hard to get this bailout through.

Obama (as much or more than McCain) praised it, the dems in the senate and house voted it through both times.

The republicans in the House voted it down the first time. They were bought the second time around though.

The minorities of both parties are the ones speaking against things like this. Dennis Kucinich, Ron Paul, and a handful of others. These peopel also saw this crisis coming years ago. We neeed to pay a little less attention to people like Obama, who want what we've been getting, and start paying more attention to the ones that want good things for us... Use the internet a little more, and get a little less informationfrom the television as it is government owned....

Anyone who thinks Obama wants a peaceful foreign policy is misinformed. He wants more wars.

Like Sudan, Pakistan, reinforce Afganistan, put pressure on Iran, and give increased military and civilian aid to 3rd world African countries. (in his words we do not get involved enough with other countries.)

Like i said, don't expect Obama to change the country for us. We need to change the country for ourselves...

how you can think Iraq wants us out, when we our providing their entire military force so to speak, and doing everything for them, is beyond me. They do not want us out. Otherwise they would already have stepped up to the plate, taken responsibility for their own military and police, etc and we wouldnt be there.

Iraq, for the most part, doesn't want us out. We pull out, they start killing each other. Iran, Syria, Turkey, maybe even Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, will all fight over a chunck of the broken country...

I have your back on that. I know many Iraqi people, and have met many, many more.

However, we cannot afford this foreign policy of ours. It's costing us trillions. We are going bankrupt at the expense of our own citizens. We are also destroying the value of our own dollar...

Iraq will, and should take care of itself someday, hopefully soon. But i hope we learned that we cannot police the world anymore. We can no longer be the U.N.'s private army.

We need someone to look at our foreign policy as a whole, not just Iraq... (tsk, tsk, Obama...)

Driven,

I keep hearing on NPR news that Iraq wants us out. They have offered a deadline for us to leave.

I heard today that Obama has looked at the other countries but he needs to fix our financial problems first.
