Ok people there ya go, you win but not because of my vote. I voted for McCain. I think it's great about the sheer numbers of voter turn out. I think rediculous that so many voted for Obama just because he is black. His platform was all about change? Lets see what "changes". I have a few ideas of what will change but I'll keep those ideas to myself.

Yes well the good thing is now they will have to actually govern....that means do more than complain & point fingers. It's called coming up with actual ideas that work.

I'm taking a wait & see attitude... if the lunatics show up they will be out so fast their heads will spin. I'm thinking it's about time the country saw the DEMS for what they really are....

...but I really wanna be wrong....

This will only work if everyone pitches in and helps. Have an idea? Speak up, complaint, speak up, suggestion, criticism, compliment, whatever, SPEAK UP! If we as a nation stopped being so apathetic, it wouldn't matter which party was in power. It's the people who effect change, not the government. Our government is only as good as the people who get involved. Why should the government care about the people when we don't care about not only ourselves, but our community as a whole. So pick a cause, pick an issue and DO SOMETHING!

Very happy, actually! Don't assume we all voted for someone based on their skin color.

We are going to see alright.

We are going to see who really cares about this country.

We will see the people who care enough about this country to do the work and make the sacrifices required of us all.

Voting for Obama doesn't mean a thing if you won't do the work. If you didn't vote for him and continue to engage in the politics of destruction we will see that too. We will all lose then.

We will also see who would rather sit on their hands except when they are pointing fingers.

The president cannot fix things alone. Nor can Washington.

If you care about this country let's see what you do with your hands. Work or point.

By the way, I loved hearing Sean Hannity say he would use his show to wreck the Obama presidency.

Guess he cares more about his dysfunctional party than he does about this country.

Obama was elected because McCain repeatedly shot himself in the foot multiple times throughout his campaign, and Obama's was flawless and inspirational. I look forward to Obama running the states in similar fashion.
To diminish Obama's achievement that he EARNED by saying he was voted in simply because he is black is unfortunate.

And yes the world is ECSTATIC!! bigsmile
