...when he earns it. After the campaign that he ran (that both candidates ran really), he doesn't deserve my respect. Not yet, but when and if he proves himself to be a good leader, I'll change my mind. I'd do the same with McCain if he was elected.

Empty mantras of "change" with a 600 million dollar bank roll does not, by itself, earn respect. I respect the office and the election is clearly an indication of the will of the people. Respect is something different and in that Senator Obama has little by way of a public record we'll see how things go. If I'm wrong, I'll own it but I'll be watching and waiting to see what happens.
