Fake pictures are just that...FAKE!

The way I see it, getting to know someone with a fake picture is a waste of time.

One invests a lot of time and emotion getting to know someone. What a drag it would be to find out you are not attracted to them physically.

Then you have to tell them that you're not interested after getting attached to their personality. Try that sometime. It's tough on you and the other person.

Some may say that my thoughts on this matter are those of a shallow man. Not so. They are thoughts of a realistic man.

If you're here to play in the forums, any picture will do.

If you're here to find a partner, I suggest using a recent photo of yourself. Sooner or later you will meet someone. It's best to look like your photo.

Just the facts mam!

I read profiles and my pics are real. With my looks it's easier to get that out of the way first. If they still want to talk I have a chance. I wouldn't buy a car without seeing it first. And I do say in my profile what I do for a living. I would also not be ashamed to tell you my income, I've earned every penny of it.

Why doesn't anyone seem to read anyone else's profile instead of just looking at the pictures?

'cause sometimes the photos show more of who a person is or is not that their photos?

Let's face it. If they ain't postin', their profiles are probably FoS.

Whut? Huh? I .. .

And anyway, if looks mattered so much to you that they took away from what attracted you about the person's personality, then that, my friend, IS superficial! Thank you!

I'm speaking in generalities here. Hopefully this sheds some light on the circumstances for those that are truely seeking a partner.

Allow me to reiterate, I wasn't bashing anyone.

Call it superficial or call it shallow. Regardless of what one calls it, everyone does it to some degree. If one doesn't recognize it in themselves, then they are in denial.
