they dragged you through HELL..... lied. manipulated and did what they could , to get ahead..... what would you do if. you thought they were suicidal. yep its another moralistic question.....so no cardboard respones!!!

Honestly? I'd contact Mental Health and let them deal with it. If you get in the middle of it or involved with it, you could end up getting more then you bargained for. JMHO

Same thing I did to him when we were married and he told me that...........Tell him don't do it............go into the kitchen and the really big knife and tell him "this way you won't screw it up"....................He never followed thru on it.

Oh man...that was a frequent threat during the marriage and I finally had to get to the "I hope you don't but I can not make that decision for you" stage. I was scared to death he'd do it but it didn't happen. Now...all these years later...my answer would have to be the same. It is not in my power to control that situation but I certainly wouldn't egg it on, either...I would have to look at myself in the mirror in the morning.
