Still ain't cheap.
Any shmoe could easily distill fuel from many by-products,...look up home distillation...you will also get a run down on the illegalities of home distillation units....Even home water distillation is illegal in the U.S. Fuel should cost 7-12 cents per gallon if you brew your own. Welcome to America. |

I'm sure it's the election
I really don't care what the reason is as long as I get change back from a $20 when I fill up |

$2.18 here in MI.
Its just a kiss on the cheek before they screw us again. From what I've read, production went up a few months ago, but demand has decreased greatly. Now OPEC countries are cutting production again to get the price of oil back up. |

According to "USA Today"
"The reason prices are going down so far so fast is that they shouldn't have been that high in the first place. Two reasons they were: fear and speculation," says Mike O'Connor, president of the Virginia Petroleum, Convenience and Grocery Association. It represents gasoline distributors who operate about 4,000 stations. O'Connor says $2 gasoline "is more likely than unlikely" if the Gulf of Mexico isn't hit by hurricanes and if there isn't a flare-up of tensions in oil-producing regions. Since the hurricanes did not do the damage they thought would happened now gas prices are coming down. |

I heard on NPR news that Iraq is losing money over this so they are selling Saddam's luxury yacht to make up the difference. |
