i like all animals, but i prefer dogs.

mine is a natural insect repellent - it eats the flies that manage to get into the house and it even tries to snap the bumblebees in the garden.

it eats roadkill too - mice, frogs and worms in particular and was quite happy this weekend to gobble up fallen halloween candy. it also attacked the zombie on our front porch friday night - everytime the mechanical portion caused the zombie to rise, she tackled it and wrestled it to the ground.

it loves jumping in sprinkers and puts some of the professional ice skaters (especially the canadians haha) to shame with its pirouettes, axels, and various other jumps.

it also does landscaping for me - many a time i've caught her digging the perennials and replacing them in the middle of the lawn.

You all are making me want a four legged pet. I have had both. About kills me everytime I loose one. Don't think I could go through it again. Tiny place I have my birds really don't have all that much room.

it took me about 3 years after my dog died that i was even able to walk into a pet store and look at the puppies

i bought this one more for the kids, but she's been so good for me!

I'm a small dog person. My son is highly allergic to cats, so we will never have one. I can't stand them anyhow. I don't own pets, cant afford them.

I'm a cat person. Had to give my cat to a friend when I moved. Thank goodness I can still visit her.

I had to do that with my first cat, Oscar, he lived a very happy life with my ex neighbours.

Lost them all in the divorce, 3 cats and 2 dogs.
