Why did you hurt me And treat me like this Why did you lie to me With every kiss I was such a fool And you're so cruel For me to believe That you could be true I opened my heart And let you in Once you were there You began to tear You said what you thought I wanted to hear And in the blink of an eye You left me in tears.

that is what they do in the blink of the eye, leave ya, tear you up, and then sometimes they come back to see what they did.
