Joshy~ I so hope you are kidding. Why do you hope I'm kidding? I'm not by the way. Can you step outside yourself and look at it objectively, from what you have said so far in here? What do you think we are ALL thinking? You are all thinking Nigeria is really long way away, I'm a fool for believing this girl is even real and there's no way this could work. Am I roughly in that ballpark?

Ummm...might want to ask Sharpshooter and Bad_girl if it works...they just got married 2 days ago Of course they work...as long as both parties are willing to put forth the effort to make sure that it does As with any relationship, both parties have to want it to work and make the effort to make it work, not just "talk" about it working. People get tired of "all mouth and no action"

Sure can.Mine did.As of this Friday it will no longer be long distance.WooooHoooo!! Can be very trying after you meet and the person goes back home.Thats when it gets hard.But if there is real love,It is worth the wait.

Wolfchick, see, that is dedication. You just have to work through the pain. I can be done, and there are different things to overcome when you are in a LDR but it can happen. I for one think 4 hours on the phone a nite is just not enough though, I need more time in my day.

Other than the idea that I've been joking all day and then drop this story that seems ridiculous, so it sounds hard to believe, I have no Idea and i don't want to think about what you guys are thinking anymore.

You got that right!!!!!That is where love comes in.Never enough time.The only time we weren't talking is at work.We hit it off the same in person.And there still was not enough time before he left.Seven days later. It works for me and TheCaptain, even though I would love to be in his arms every night I have to settle for listening to his voice on the phone right now. I can't get a transfer right now. With the economy being so bad, I don't want to leave a job that I have 19 yrs invested in, only to be junior at a new job and worry if I am going to be the first one let go. It will happen though and then it will be forever.
