I would and have and my real friends took it in the spirit it was ment. I sure would want someone who was my friend to tell me what was in their heart.

If they were my friend, I'd tell them. I care too much about my friends to let them make a bad decision, without giving them my viewpoint on it.

A lot is how you say it. If you tell someone they are picking the wrong man you can just about guarantee they are going to pick the man over the friendship and then they have no-one when they really need them. Hard but timing is everything.

When it comes to these sorts of matters, I'm reminded of a saying that fits almost exactly- "You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make him (or her) drink." You can do all you can do to try to correct said friend's problems, but if they aren't willing to be corrected in the first place, you'll simply be beating a hollow tree with your forehead.

Trust your instincts. If you are questioning weather to say something maybe you have your answer. You seem like you have a good heart. I can't see you saying something just to be a kind of friend.
