youtube isnt a source in and of itself, its an index of several sources some of which are reliable and others not. you can tell the unreliable ones by the face of a barely post-pubescent kid being prominently featured and the jerky camera work indicative of someone who either has parkinsons disease or is high.

Don't you think it depends on the source of the video on utube?
Things you see anywhere, if you are going to use them as a serious source, need to be confirmed as well. How much fact checking goes into posts on these boards is questionable sure but just because something appears on utube doesn't make it either a reliable or unreliable source. |

A reliable news source of any kind? Don't people understand that youtube or utube, however it is spelled, is a personally produced and ALTERED version of what people want to express? The few things I have seen from there are funny sometimes and entertaining sometimes and shocking and disgusting sometimes but at no point period should it be considered a reliable news source. Can someone tell me why some people think it is verifiable fact? most of the time i dont believe everything i see on you tube and i go looking for a whole video clip of whats being shown instead of the few seconds they showcase, but allso youtube is a great social networking site to show our opinions on things its not all waysabout news, and sometiems you can learn things that werent on tv maybe something happedn in a small town and they got video footage of it firsthand. |

Inquiring minds want to know! it was over something stupid they have turned into a big deal, they came down on us hard and took us to little rooms in a big building and my friends the only one in trouble really now but they sure did get off on calling me names and saying how stupid i am and how i suck because of where i work at. |
