When was the last time you went out for less than $100?

Everytime....lol. I'm cheap that way. 100 bucks to me is money to pay a bill or buy a great new pair of boots. Going out usually cost me 20 or 30 bucks.

Well it helps that I live in a tiny little town west of nowhere. It takes 20 minutes to get to civilization and even then it's just the usual Walmart and Tumbleweed. Not even any fine dining establishments. All that is about an hour away.

Sounds like here our finest dining is Sonic. Otherwise we have to drive 30 min.

I live in North East Ohio. A couple of years ago, I went to sonics website. The closest one to Where I live at that time was Nelsonville, Ohio which is about a 3 hour drive south of me.

I`m not driving 3 hours to get anything to eat anywhere, except if it is to Pittsburgh which is a 2 hour drive east of me to go to Premanti Brothers. The Pittsburgh area also has some really great places to eat, and ya aren`t going to drop a lot of money. I don`t consider Pittsburgh a out of my way drive, because I would rather go to Pittsburgh than Cleveland which is an hour drive from Canton.

Now getting back to the question. I`m like Heather, I can go out, have a good time and not drop a bundle of money. When I do go out, the most I will spend is probably in the neighborhood of $70 - $80 and thats akind of an expensive night. Usually around $30 if I`m by myself.

AMEN TO THAT
We need more Sonic Drive-Ins

Here in Oklahoma we have had them for several years, but when I lived in South Carolina there were none, until a few years back and they were out of Georgia I believe. There was one in SC I went to where the GM was from Oklahoma, so was cool having some home folks there. Miss that one, but love to go to Sonic when I can.
Need more in OHIO. There are some between here and there that I seen in Illinois and Indiana, so why not more in Ohio? Lets get them going.    Awesome hamburgers and everything.

I seriously thought Sonic was everywhere, but at the same time I don't remember seeing one in NV. Out there they had In & Out in CA. Now those were some hamburgers.

As every bzmom knows, TJN, you don't have to go out to buy anything anymore. The internet is the largest shopping mall on the planet. ;)

Bank the gas money. Buy nicer boots. ;)

haha..let me clarify....I could pay a bill or buy great new boots with 100 bucks. Going out as in going out on the town for something fun like drinks with friends cost me less than 100 bucks. Yes, I go out to a store to buy my boots, since it's a must I try them on and make sure they are "great".
Make sense now?

I do mean going out on the town for less then 100 bucks. I also am having to figure in child-care for 2 kids. When my friends and I go out we mean to have fun, not get wasted, but have fun. It gets expensive doing it like we do. We take turns paying for the night out.
