ok... so a few weeks ago someone tried breaking into my house while i was home alone... cops were called.... never caught the guy
and tonight... i just got out of the shower because i thaught i heard something.... so i got dressed and came into the computer room because its far away from the door... i heard something in the kitchen and i thaught it was my cat... but then my cat came back into the room with me and i heard the noise again... i tried calling my upstairs neighbor because he used to be a cop... but no answer.... i dont know what i should do |

Replace the locks with better locks. Put chain latches over the doors. Call the cops. Sounds like your place is too easy to get into.
Had a friend whose place was broken into twice in one month. Interesting thing, no forced entry. That complex had a history of break ins. It was suspected that someone with access to a master key or who in the past had such access and copied it was doing it. |

they never got in last time because i called the cops...
like i had just gotten home and all the censor lights around my house were already on... and i heard something in the bushes so i assumed it was an animal because i live on a dead end street... and then 10 minutes after being inside i heard something at the door kind of like what i heard a few minutes ago... and then after 5 min i went into the kitchen just to see the doorknob jiggling... so i callled the cops... they didnt find the person but they said that they kept getting calls all week about a guy walking around with a flashlight at like 4:30 am.... |

If they have been getting calls about this guy from other people, I don't think you have to worry about crying wolf. They know something is up. It sounds almost like the guy is wandering around looking for places someone forgot to lock up. So is trying the door handles. |
