I thought the campaign was boycotting NBC, but I digress...

In response to a question about Gen. Colin Powell endorsing Barack Obama, Sen. McCain said, "Five former Secretaries of State have endorsed me," and then went on to name four of them. As he struggled to come up with #5, he slowly repeated the four and then said, "and one other."

About 30 seconds later he blurted out "George Schultz."

It was painful to watch.

You hear him guarantee a victory too?

Like I said in the other thread the fix is in.

I am not a conspiracy freak but don't think the vote matters much. I think the real power elite in this country have McCain right where they want him and they will ensure his election by any means necessary.

Please folks, get out and vote.

On Meet the Press: John McCain was angry, argumentative, obviously on the defensive and rudely kept interrupting while reasonable interview questions were being asked. Isn't the exchange of questions with answers holding insight the essential purpose of an interview? Real Communication meaning an active discussion with back and forth discourse was clearly not McCain’s goal. From my perspective McCain kept 'filibustering' the necessary & important questions posed by Tom Brokaw who was beyond patient with him. McCain seems to have taken speaking cues from Palin, whom I have noticed avoids questions & issues obviously by launching speedily into tirades filling the air with arrogant speech until the point of the answer to the question has been sufficiently convoluted in her mind & she can move on to the next topic or go to a commercial break.
