maybe I'm too callous but I have my own problems, I don't have much sympathy for people who try to get attention by whining about theirs

i think some people have no one else to vent to so they use the forums as a sounding board. Just have to remember every deals differently with things.

I did that a couple days ago about some nerves about my daughter's medical test. Later on I kind of regretted doing it. Not sure if that kind of thing is what your talking about, but those type of things can come off looking like attention seeking. I don't feel that way when someone else does it, but I did feel that way when I did it. I enjoy giving support to other people, but that may just be 'cause I'm a woman.

I don't either, but it sure provides a lot of entertainment for the rest of us, huh? Oh wait a minute, I posted a minor mishap with my daughter last night just asking for some suggestions. It got handled on its own and with the support of a few friends in private email though. Am I one of "those" now? Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!
