I hate Nashville music

Welcome...not in your area but yes...the new stuff...appreciate the oldies a grew up with...but today's country is great...Terri Clark and of course Kenny Chesney are my faves in country

LOL, well, a lot of it seems to be centered in Nashville these days, hmm? ;)

I like the newer styles, and am amazed how similar it sounds to the 'rock' of the 70s at times. (Am I nuts? LOL!)

I grew up listening to the " old style " country that my mom force fed me.

Stuff like Tammy Wynette, George Jones, Conway Twitty and the like.

I absolutely can't stand most of the songs by those three. Nor can I deal with many of the songs from that era in general. Too freaking depressing.

I do like a lot of the newer country. Garth Brooks, Travis Tritt, Brad Paisley, Miranda Lambert...etc...

I've been fed up with the state of Country music for a long time. The promoters and producers have a lot more influence than the musicians. So you get a lot of clones who all look and sound alike.

I'll just stick to my 30 year old honky tonk music
