Since when do well educated and elitist mean the same thing?

Oh, wait I know.

That happened when people agreed to dumb down and listen to someone like Palin who is afraid of "fancy words"

To me well educated means that they worked hard to get educated. Working hard does not equal elitist.

All,

In answer to recent questions about his U.S. citizenship and birth, the obama campaign website has his "birth certificate" on display. Problem is, IT's A FAKE! The most damning evidence comes from below interview. barrack hussein obama is not a U.S. born citizen, and there could be evidence he could in fact be an illegal alien!

Subject: Very important to listen to this interview with Phillip Berg

Here is the audio on the interview with Phillip Berg a Democrat that has stated that Obama is NOT a natural born citizen....and therefore is NOT legally to serve as President.....please listen to this interview or go to

The law suits are frivolous.

Btw, they're called illegal immigrants not illegal aliens.

In high school, when one particular kid was very popular and someone was jealous of him/her because everyone liked the girl/guy... the natural response was to become slightly bitter and bring that person down a bit any way you can. one way was by taking one of his/her positive attributes that people found attractive and making it into a put-down... classic high school psychology

since when were the leadership attributes of charisma and the ability inspire a bad thing?

When used for the wrong things these atributes are horrible. Not trying to make a comparison, but look at Hitler, or even Charles Manson.

The problem people have with Obama is that it seems nobody listens to what he is saying. They hear is words of inspiration without questioning their motive or his policies.

I wish the dems could have had a more conservative candidate. Dennis Kucinich i hear would have been pretty good.

Im a bit angry at the repiblicans too for censoring Ron Paul like they did. If he had a fair chance he would have won the popular vote, and i am convinced, the election.

Niether McCain nor Obama are good candidates for these times. Personally i get a little more reluctant when people cheer on Obama and praise how great he is. It just seems cultish to me...

Especially since it seems like its those same people that can't come up with a decent logical reason to vote him in...

Hey, I gave you my reasons, but you don't really want reasons to vote for Barack Obama. You want continuing doubts to sow reasons why not to.

As i recall you told me to "do my research elsewhere".... This is a typical response. No one can seem to defend Obama to much of any extent. If you offered me a logical reason i would take that into consideration...

Here is a reason, although it can't be proven...

Obama seems to just give the people want they want. Or at least he sends that message. He is charismatic. Unfortunately his stances add to existing problems.

But the fact that he wants to give people what they want makes it seem like people could manipulate him to reconsider is increased goverment spending and maybe turn him into someone a bit more conservative.... But people have to start giving HIM ideas instead of just finding reasons to like the ones he has...

Here's the thread and my response to your "But W-H-Y?"

Obama '08.

But W-H-Y?

He's smart and he's cool under pressure and his foreign policy won't resemble a drunken frat boy pounding his chest to enrich war profiteering corporations. On energy, he won't have a secret policy that has enriched Dubya's oil buddies beyond their wildest dreams.

Other than the BS fear tactics, why aren't you voting for him? Have you enjoyed the last 8 years?

Your turn.

Here is a reason to vote for McCain...

The vast majority of congress is democrat. With any luck voting a republican in will lead to many disagreements and vetos. This may slow down the process of our collapse.

Both are pretty sad reasons if you ask me...

His foreign policy is proven to be more aggressive than Bush's. It will cost us even more money. Yes he is cool under pressure, but that is basically an acting ability. He is VERY charismatic, but that only gets you so far.

His healthcare policy:

Will cost about 70 to 100 billion dollars a year. This adds to inflation since he doesn't plan on cutting programs (unless you count NASA from what i've heard). This makes people more dependent on a government system by taxing people more (yes inflation is a tax).

Another worry is medicare and government healthcare systems dont pay hospitals entirely. They say "we will give you $5,000" for a $20,000 procedure. This may cause a collapse in hospitals further down the road.

Foreign Policy:

You and i agree the Bush went a bit overboard on his aggression. First there was Afganistan, than Iraq. Obama wants to slowly pull out of Iraq (which is a good thing), but he wants to reinforce Afganistan, and move onto Pakistan. He also mentions on his website that he wants to increase military and civilian aide to third world african countries. (Can we say Sudan?)

That doesn't sounds like a better foreign policy to me, does it to you?

I mainly hold against him what i hold agaisnt McCain. That is, they both fail to address the CAUSES behind our problems.

Reason to high energy costs: inflation lowering the value of our dollar and government spending

What about high medical costs: inflation lowering the value of our dollar and government spending

Reasons for high costs for education and just about everything else:

inflation lowering the value of our dollar and government spending

Obamas "change" for all this:

print more money and increase government spending

Also:

Obama PRAISED the economic stabalization act (along with McCain), which will supposedly add to the recession and make it last longer (according to many people who predicted this "bubble burst" years ago), as well as give Paulson an ungoldy amount of power.

Obama voted to reinstate the patriot act.

Obama wants to keep "no child left behind" policy of bushs, he just wants it tweeked a little, and an extra 10 billion or so dumbed into it.

I guess you have to ask yourself, want you want progressed?

Cuz progression picked up quite a bit under bush....(but it was the wrong kind)

I want someone in office who will cut back on this over spending, reback the dollar (to cut back on inflation) and start making us more self sufficient. I want people the next cabinet to look SERIOUSLY at our civil liberties and toss out a few amendments that infringes them. Is that so much to ask for?

and move onto Pakistan.

BS McCain talking point. He specifically said if we had actionable intelligence that OBL was in Pakistan and the Pakistani's wouldn't act, we would. That's it.

Also, inflation has been low for years. High healthcare costs and energy costs are largely due to corporate gouging aided by Bush/Republican policies.

Hey, we agree to disagree. I'm done with this debate.
