Dear Diary; Time to be serious for a moment. Everyone knows how much i love going to the animal shelter and playing with the cats; i post about it all the time. But what happens when the shelter has too many cats to care for? I just learned the hard way. The shelter manager asked me to write down names of cats that I'm having trouble socializing and then give her the list. I was unaware of what that list would ultimately become. Every cat mentioned on there will be sent to the local vet to be put to sleep. So 15 cats are going to die because of me. How can i keep trying to help cats knowing that one day they might be called in to die, and their only sin in life is being born. Why can't i have the power to save cats instead of shipping them off to die? I know i can't save every damn cat in the world, but why the ** to i have to kill them instead of bringing them a better life? Its ing bull**. How can i keep going and helping that shelter knowing that if they get over crowded than animals will have to pay the price. And the sad part about it, is this shelter is the best one in the state with a 90% adoption rate. Why can't 90% of the animals we have now find homes? Then they wouldn't have to die.

Dear diary.....the only thing that stops us is us. We have the power to change things if we look inside ourselves and find the strength, the wisdom and the means. There is always an answer if we look hard enough!!!

you can buy a bp machine for about $50 in the drugstores.......for home. They work great!!! Unless of course you WANT ANOTHER STROKE!!!
