Oregon Forms are like dead. I have been seeing the same postings like since I joined this site.

there are other people in here as well sounds like your only looking in oregon forum you should mingle around all the forums not just one.

Why would he want to look in forums other than Oregon if he's wanting to meet someone from here? But if that's not the only reason and he'd like to see more talking going on then yeah, looking in other forums is a good idea.
