Does God live in books, or in the ether?

personally, i believe that the Universe, Nature and God are one
and the same thing. This is called pantheism. in this view God is everywhere in all things so it makes no sense to ask where does God live. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pantheism |

Does God live in books, or in the ether? God is in all things... More important god is ALIVE in you. What will god see through your eyes on YOUR journey through life? |

God is the essense of existence.
Religions are mankind's vision of God. It is my belief that we, as humans, should chose a vision of god that feels right for us, even if that vision is atheism. For me that's the key right there. If you don't feel right about your essense of existence, then you aren't going to harmonize with it. It's that simple. |

sort of like the burrito supreme of "beings"
the being supremo |

god didn't exist till someone held a sign up in a mirror that spelled DOG, from there it's been all down hill.
now on a serious note - god is a supreme being who brought forth creative materials of which all came into existence. |

What is not a God?
For me a God doesn't put down writings that would make his children hurt is other children, make them choose on gender color or age which is better, does not ask his children to discriminate against is other children, a God doesn't want his children to starve on a small planet that is becoming overpopulated then asks people to make more of his children so they can starve more. A God loves all, from each of us human to all his animals, fishes and plants. A god doesn't need adulation, sacrifices, houses to be prayed for or talisman all those are human emotions not that of a God. All that we see on earth is man made religion not what a God put down as law but what man is using against is fellow man to control him. In my belief God as we see it is who created us and I think we are living on her (earth) might have been a special spark that made us have that humanity and the intelligence that us human have but now what made us apart is what is killing us and God. |

For me, a god, the god, any god -ish type icon is a separation...
an 'us and 'them' scenario. What is it about humans who have to continually separate, catelogue, define and label, all in the name of furthering knowledge? Instinctually we know all we need to know, and the more connected we are to Self, the more this comes about. God- ishness is a myth... and resides in the feeble. |

Oh God.
You see that beautiful sunset? You see that dancing stream? You feel that sensation of connectedness with all around you? You sense the friendship and love of others? Nope. That's not it. |
