Newt Gingrich claimed that Saturday Night Live’s skits mocking Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin were “vicious” and a “total distortion of who Governor Palin is.” Gingrich said that some of the sketches, particularly one mocking reporters for pursuing unsubstantiated claims about the Palins, “were slander and were worthy of a lawsuit.”

So, I guess sweet Sarah appeared on the show and totally distorted who she is?

Newt didn't mind I guess when Hilary was mocked.

Parody is protected speech. Ask Jerry Falwell haha

her going on the show and not realizing that the skits were laughing at her not with her is proof enough that she is an idiot.

I thought it was a smart move politically. She gained credibility with the youthful audience and showed she can take a punch.

That said, ummmm, I'm not voting for her.

I think it was a bad idea to go on SNL.
