The first time that I saw you I admit I was afraid, I didn't want you to hate me for the mistakes that I have made, After I got to know you and your personality you see, You made me oh so happy just happy to be me You've helped me through the toughest times and offered a place to stay, Talking just for hours on your floor I lay, I'll just reach up on top the bed and try to hold your hand, Just because of you I'm a better man.
