BEST thing I have ever used is Tylenol Severe Cold....daytime won't give you the jitters, just seems to dry everything up...worked great for me...hope you feel better soon

...get rid of a horrible cold...im dyin here!!! :( any ideas? Drink a few shots of tequila with lime; if your cold does not go away, you'll be so drunk you won't remember you have one....  Now seriously, there is nothing that will cure a cold. Your best bet is rest and drink plenty of liquids. You might wanna take some advil, or excedrin, for pain, but as bad as it sounds,,,you just have to take it like a man, well "like a man is just a sayin" we know we are stonger than men..

Dr told me once just to let it run it's course. Look at the cold stuff you take it is mostly acetaminophen, so why not just take 2 Tylenol curl up with the tissues, a good book or movie. You will feel better in a few days. Sorry you are sick though.

Drink a few shots of tequila with lime; if your cold does not go away, you'll be so drunk you won't remember you have one.... When I was young Whiskey, honey and a dash of lemon juice all together. But The Tequila shots sound like a better deal. I don't take medicine to stop symptoms and for a cold, usually just drink a lot of juice and sweat it out under a blanket...in the GUEST bedroom. Then go out and take a long walk in the sun. |

at the onset of a cold i always take zicam and it goes away within a day. if you already have the cold zicam will shorten it's duration considerably.

treat the symptoms. drink a mixture of honey, whiskey, lemon, and percocet Percocet!? Or maybe just crush up a few Lortabs, 1G phenobarbital and drop it in a glass of Vodka. It WILL kill you, but you won't have a cold anymore. Not a good idea to mix pain killers and alcohol..even a little. Percocet contains Oxycodone, an opium derivative and, although it's a great high, not good to mix with even a little alcohol. |

 Get yourself some fresh organic ginger,garlic, goldenseal & echinacea(bulk)not in a capsule, and some cayenne pepper. Stir or blend your ingriedients in water and drink it down. It taste like heat straight from hells gate but it will burn the cooties right out of your system in a hurry.

I find the best way to help a cold, is to shut yourself in the bathroom and run the shower as hot as you can. Helps break up all the mucus.

i cant take many over the counter cold medecines, im allergic to the acetaminophen in them...then i would be even worse off then i was to begin with :)
