To be thankful. No, I don't mean thankful that we came in and stole the country from the Indians and taught them how to plant corn in return. I mean really thankful for everything that we do have. Friends, family, jobs, ability to pay our bills. I've had so many things happen around me recently that I just can't imagine going thru. The only reason I'm not going thru is because I have the support system that I have. Sometimes we things do get very rough for me, I forget how much more difficult they could be. So... it's time to be grateful

I count my blessing every single day. I mean, if I could count that high.

No matter how badly I screw up, it always comes out OK and I end up with more than I need. So much so that I truly never worry.

I havn't been to a Thanksgiving dinner in...I don't even remember when. Always been so far away from home. Now that I am in my hometown theres nobody left. Piccadilly or some other cafeteria on Thanksgiving alone just doesn't strike me as a good day so I guess I'll go fishing.

My birthday came on Thanksgiving one year when I was a kid. My entire family went to my grandparents for dinners. Uncles, cousins...everyone. My grandmother asked me what I wanted and I told her "For everyone to have squirrel and dumplins' for Thanksgiving dinner". lol We did. I didn't like them, but hey, nobody else did either. lol It is one that I remember though.
