They actually had the author of this book on Fox today and I am sure that it is more of the one sided views you get on Fox. The non fair and non balanced..lol |

Nah I have no intention of starting anything on here, I just though it'd be an itersting read is all. I am completely relaxed about it. I believe what I want to believe just like everyone else. I don't have cable for a reason, to many channels which means to many spins on whats said. I'm at home for two days and my parents have the dish network. Thus the reason I was watching Fox news. I get 3 channels in Omaha lol I'm to busy to watch much TV. I never know what to think of that O'Reilly guy either..the one that has the 'no spin zone' but again, I only ever see this stuff when I'm home & I only come home ever couple months or less. Anyway, like I said not gonna start anything..

Liking or disliking Obama doesn't get you run off of boards, but being frustrating and not contributing to a dialogue does.
Anyway, I personally think Obama's a complete idiot, so I can definitely see why some people vote Mccain. At the same time, Mccain and Palin are both idiots as well, so it's really a matter of whether my coin comes up heads or tails. |

I hear ya there, I do. It seems like it's who can out talk whom and who can lie the best. I am really concerned for the country, it's in a bad place right now and I hope that MCcain can get it and hopefully help it in some ways. I like Sarah Palin more than Biden & its not because I'm gay and she's nice to look at & not because she's a woman. I just distrust Biden. Some people just rub me the wrong way from the beginning & he's one. I would feel the same if he'd been running with mccain. I didn't jump on the MP bandwagon at the beginning I had to research them both out before deciding. I can't wait till this is over though, I can't remember another election where it felt like such a big thing..so lets all hope it all ends well.

Betty Boop (true first , not 2nd name)
I researched the book some, and found this. ---copy--- http://hotair.com/archives/2008/09/22/book-review-the-case-against-barack-obama/ In doing so, I discovered why the Barack Obama campaign fears this book. Last week they staged what can only be described as a mob action intended to silence Freddoso, the same as they did with Stanley Kurtz, who hadn’t even yet written about the Chicago Annenberg Challenge papers he fought to open. It’s not that Freddoso has written an “extremist” or “hate”-filled book, as their hyperbolic message to their mindless thugs accused. Instead, Freddoso has written a reasonable, rational look at Obama’s record and has concluded that he is the first reformer to have never actually reformed anything, or even attempted it.--snip-- Libraries are wonderful things. Mine will even reserve the book for you, online of course, ship it to the branch nearest to me and notify me via e-mail when it’s there. or It’s available for your ipod at audible http://www.audible.com/adbl/site/enSearch/searchResults.jsp?BV_SessionID=@@@@0413157268.1224686244@@@@&BV_EngineID=ccchadefhjlghgkcefecekjdffidfjl.0&Ntk=S_Keywords&Ntt=The+Case+against+Barack+Obama&Ntx=mode%2bmatchallpartial&x=0&y=0&D=The+Case+against+Barack+Obama&N=0&Dx=mode%2bmatchallpartial --end c-- All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for people of good conscience to remain silent. When the people fear their government, there is tyranny; when the government fears the people, there is liberty. Thomas Jefferson Thats right, and Obama is winning because the American people are speaking out against the neo con Republican government we've had for the past 8 years. The right wing scare tactics and racial politics arnt working anymore. |

Racial politics is working for Obama...
He's been using them since he started his carreer... Oh yeh... Forgot that by mentioning that I must be a racist... After all no one must ever question anything attached to the great McBama. We will be no better off under his 'leadership' then we would be under any of the current crop of politicos. government has lead us around by the nose... Result... National id card is allmost here... (cant buy or sell without it)...Patriot act makes it possible for government to place entire sectors of our population under watch...Banks are now complete under thumb of Fed...(they know when you buy n sell and can control it)...Patriot act give pres power to deploy fed troops in an 'emergency' capacity at his descretion... (do you really think this would be in place if Obama was not part of the establishment).(it does not matter which schmuk is elected they are all part of it)...YOU DO THE MATH. |

Hi Adventure
Why is no one talking about more uncle same and the boss looking over y're shoulder?? ---copy-- WASHINGTON -- When Barack Obama was seeking AFL-CIO support in the primaries, he promised to sign a bill that would effectively deprive workers of a private-ballot vote in unionization drives. The bill, which is No. 1 on organized labor's wish list, is seen by union bosses as the only way to increase depleted membership rolls because it would be easier to unionize workplaces without the bother of the private ballot to protect workers in a free and democratic election. Obama doesn't talk about this issue much before general audiences, but it his No. 1 promise when he speaks to unions -- pledging that the so-called Employee Free Choice Act will become law in 2009 if he wins the presidency in November. "We're ready to play offense for organized labor. It's time we had a president who didn't choke saying the word 'union.' A president who strengthens our unions by letting them do what they do best: organize our workers," the freshman senator told the AFL-CIO in Philadelphia on April 2. "I will make it the law of the land when I'm president of the United States," he told the labor federation. The labor-law reform is known as the "card-check bill" because it would allow employees to form a union simply by publicly collecting a majority of cards signed by workers supporting unionization of their employer's business. Union leaders would, of course, know how each worker voted, opening them up to pressure and intimidation. Under current law, once a majority of workers submit cards requesting union certification, an election is held where workers vote by secret ballot on whether to ratify unionization. The bill, pushed by labor and supported by Obama, would effectively abandon that procedure in most cases. John McCain opposes the bill, saying it would deny a democratic right of workers to decide by secret ballot whether they and their co-workers will come under union representation. ----end c-- http://townhall.com/columnists/DonaldLambro/2008/08/08/obama_supports_union_ploy_to_drop_secret_ballots And I think that is just a (terrible) start for Obama!BB |

NO! Obama, not McCain is playing the race card.
http://seattletimes.nwsource.com/html/opinion/2008279892_opin19krauthammer.html?syndication=rss The Media Play The Race Card For Obama http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2008/09/24/opinion/main4474562.shtml?source=RSSattr=Opinion_4474562 Even liberal Geraldine Ferraro is fed up with Barack Obama's racism and racist comments. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XauargU9_XE Be really nice if we didn't hear from him and his camp about "could it be - don't forget he's black" If he didn't bring it up and accuse people of it, it sure wouldn't be an issue as much! Not the rep/ but the Dem/ from their leader on down. BB |
