WASHINGTON (Reuters) – Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama has opened up a 10-point lead over Republican opponent John McCain two weeks before the November 4 U.S. election, according to Wall Street Journal/NBC News poll released on Tuesday.
The poll found 52 percent of voters favor Obama compared with 42 percent for McCain, up from a 6-point Obama edge two weeks ago, the Wall Street Journal reported. http://news.yahoo.com/s/nm/20081021/pl_nm/us_usa_politics_poll_nbc |

Yes we do not want a theocracy. We do not wish to be lied into wars or bail out the rich with corperate welfare. We dont care if women chooses when to raise a family. We respect her right to birth control. We understand the world is a complex place and a sledghammer isnt allways the best foreign policy and diplomacy sometimes if far more effective. Its a new day dawning in america

country's current opinion? Does 100,000 people showing up for Obama in St. Louis on Saturday mean anything? Does 70,000 people showing up for Obama in Kansas City, MO on Saturday mean anything? Does 4,000 people showing up for McCain in St. Louis on Monday mean anything? You betcha. |
