I recently heard that 50 percent of all high schools in the u.s have
teens with HIV and aids.What is the world coming to?Our children are
supposed to be our future but what kind of future are we going to have
if this continues? Our babies are dying way too young.

Children are the Future, and its our job as parents
that we continue to instill the values of life that
we were brought up with deep into thier Souls and be
thier when they need us to guide them through all
of lives ups and downs,,, Education in the family and
in the Schools as well as the Community is the
Circle that needs to be formed in order to keep our
children safe from the harm of todays Society,,, Love
your children, stand by them,, Educate them, Our
Childrens future is as bright as we make it,,, spend
time with them, Family, Love, Trust, Knowledge is
powerful, with this instilled in them, The world
can be a better place

I think TESTING should be AUTOMATICALLY done if u r going to be SEXUALLY
involved no MATTER what the AGE is if u r sexually active it is very

only thing I would add is know their friends
(really know them)and set a good example!! As much
as we teach our children
unfortunately peer pressure and friends have a lot of
influence. Being a single mom and a Labor & Delivery
nurse- I have taught my children about diseases, I spend time with them,
I get to know their friends, etc.
However, there are still events that happened because
of peer pressure. The rate of teen pregnancy is very high.
It was not til recently that my son came and said he needed to talk to
me and said he withness a good friend of his go through a situation and
his thought was my mom tells me that all the time. And he thanked me.
Until it hit close, he thought it could never happen to him. I am not
sure that given the wrong time and situation...it still would not.

Heck,, I'm a single Parent with 4 kids,,, Society today is different
then when we were growing up,,, Drugs, crime life in general has changed
its who has more and who can get more,,, this to me is wrong, its not
Wealth that instills Love or guidance its the Compassion one has to take
that time with our Children and to instill in them, that Life will throw
us Curve balls and we must open our eyes and look deep into our Souls
and set goals and guide lines as to acheive what it is in life that we
need to acheive,,, No we cant always be thier when our Children stray,,,
But rest assured with the Love, Support and Strength that we give our
children, the choices they make will be made with caution,,, for it is
our voices they will here in thier heads and then think twice about what
they are doing or going to do... Life is hard But taking the time to
Instill Good Values in ones Child is the most Easiest Task a Parent can
have and give,,, We choose to have our Children they did not choose
us,,, Guide them love them,, And when they stray off the path Be thier
for them to guide them back...

what is out thier, and knowing thier friends is so important,,,,
Teaching our children is the Key word here,,, And knowing what, where

One of the biggest problems today is the schools. They want to tell you
how to and how not to raise your kids. They intimidate you with threats
of arrest and when the kid gets in trouble, They wash their hands and
blame the parents.

schools is gone,,,Society is forever changing and it is so sad that our
children have to pay the price

too many teens don`t have role models,or even a parent to raise them
kids are growing up with no guidance .
