I just got a fax from the offices of Newt Gingrich
They're asking all business owners how they feel about a flat tax rate. 17% of our sales A 2 page fax showing how your tax return will look and the first page is the cover page! Simplicity at it's best. Do you think this will be fair or should we continue to have the tax return status we deal with now? |

I don't know much about flat tax. But..I do recall Obama saying that it is good but it has a big problem. He said that they will need enough money to pay teachers, police officers, etc. and that money will have to come from somewhere. He said that if we had a flat tax, they would have to raise taxes elsewhere to make up the difference.
