Oh yeah that reminds me, I need my fences painted by next spring. laugh

you'll have to make me some alpaca brushes to use 3" wide 3 1/2" long hairs, split ends 1" thick.brass bezel and hickory handles.

Their fleece is not like that. Its course on their legs but with that you can make rugs and socks, then the finest part is called the "brisket" and thats the dope. They can actually create high end clothing and even wedding gowns. That shocked me. Its comparable to cashmere. They also mix it with silk sometimes. Depends where you have it milled.

Not interested in the ASSAULTS HERE, SO...

Satan said: lo! I will lie in wait for them on their Straight Way: Then will I assault them, from before them and behind them, from their right and from their left: Nor wilt Thou shall find, in most of them, no gratitude, nor appreciation, nor humility..

By hearing you shall hear, and shall not understand: and seeing you shall see, and shall not perceive.

For the heart of this people is grown gross, and with their ears they have been dull of hearing, and their eyes they have shut:

lest at any time they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and be converted, and I (CHRIST) should heal them.

there is not "secret doctrine"; Jesus Himself said, as recorded in

John 18:20, "In secret I have spoken nothing." There are His words spoken in open for all to hear -- but which

"go over the heads"
of those who will not to hear them and whom God has allowed to be hardened in their choices.

To the person wearing dark sunglasses, a rose's red looks black -- but the rose is there in its colorful brilliance for all to see if they'd simply remove the obstacles between their eyes and the flower.

Satan's power is so extensive that he is over all the nations of the earth. Jesus calls him the ruler of this world (John 14:30). He affects people's attitudes by moving our reasoning processes toward satisfaction of the-self.

He gives disinformation and stirs up our spirit.

The apostle Paul confirms this principle in
I Corinthians 4:16, "Therefore I urge you, imitate me." In
I Corinthians 11:1, he repeats, "Imitate me, just as I also imitate Christ." Finally, in
Philippians 3:17, he writes, "Brethren, join in following my example, and note those who so walk, as you have us for a pattern."

In addition to Paul, Peter teaches us in I Peter 2:21 that Jesus set "us an example, that [we] should follow His steps." Imitation and conformity is a fact of life.

However, these scriptures make clear that who and what we imitate [be it SATAN or CHRIST or idols or false teachers(ings)]is critical because, much that we might strive to imitate within humanity, is a for sheer attention-seeking, and mere statement-making, for ego and vanity — in so many cases, just downright degrading to the human spirit, humanity, and to God.

He's back with more random, unexamined scripture!! Drew I have a favorite quote from the old testament.

Deuteronomy 24:16

The fathers shall not be put to death for the children, neither shall the children be put to death for the fathers: every man shall be put to death for his own sin.

Not sure where your going with that one, but ill listen.

"Keep thy heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life"

"O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh"

"He that trusteth in his own heart is a fool; but who so walketh wisely, he shall be delivered" (Prov. 28: 26).

The heart must (conscience, intellect, discipline, emotions) be properly educated in the truths of God's word before it can be of great use... (cp. Eph. 4: 29). Jesus says one cannot have bad speech and a good heart. Corrupt speech is indicative of a corrupt heart.

Well then, based on that you need to indeed speak your OWN words and express yourself without the constant assistance of copied and pasted scripture. Otherwise you are clearly going to wind up in hell. Its right there in black and white. pitchfork

I find that sharing my experience with the Holy Spirit with the witches is the most rewarding. Witches are loving individuals, but they guys and the gals. I've met quite a few male witches on this site and they were all very polite and unobtrusive. Totally unlike me. laugh

I've decided to become a witch for a while and I'm already starting to mellow out. I can see why they have no care about pushing their views onto others. If you can see the value in it then poo poo on you. That's really all there is to it. Trying to twist someone's arm to become a witch would be like trying to build an anvil out of water.

I would like to be able to embrace the biblical picture of God if only to pacify the romanticists who have idolized Jesus. It truly do understand that love affair. Anyone who thinks that I don't love the mythical picture of Jesus truly does not know me. Jesus was the epitome of the underdog who supposedly gave his life to save the world. How quaint. If you ignore the violent brutality of the actual crucifixion, and the fact that we're supposedly responsible for the need for it, it can be a very romantic story.

However, there's nothing romantic about it if you actually stop to realize that the story is claiming that we're the cause of the atrocity! That quickly takes it from the romance category and places it in the horror category. It's certainly nothing to be 'proud of'. Why should I be proud that someone had to be nailed to a pole because of me? That's nothing but the most horrific shame and guilt. There's nothing romantic about that picture at all.

So I refuse to romanticize the fable that implies such a horrific relationship between myself and my creator. If it is true let's all go bury our heads in a bucket and never show our faces again on earth or in heaven.

However, the real problem with the biblical picture overall (and most of the people who push it) is that they claim unequivocally that the Bible is the supposed 'word of God'. That's a serious problem for me.

I worship our creator through the power and manifestations of creation. Yet the Bible thumpers denounce this practice as against the 'word of God'.

Now how to you argue with someone who is not claiming to offer an opinion, but instead they are insisting that this is the concrete word of God?

How do begin to find 'middle ground' with someone who is claiming to have the final word of God and there shall be no ifs ands or buts about it?

What's to discuss? You either do as they dictate, or you argue with them. There simply isn't any third option available. They've taken than away by claiming that their opinions are the 'word of God', and your opinions are just that, your opinions. They have no merit whatsoever.

How can you respect someone who claims to speak for God and won't give your views any merit at all because they claim that they are merely frivolous opinions?

The only option they leave open to you, is to challenge the very doctrine that they are claiming to be this so-called 'Word of God'.

They give you no other choice. Truly. They force the confrontation.

Either that or you can just go to your room and cower down in defeat. But I'm not one to do that.

Truly.

And besides, how does one determine what is corrupt speach?

To denounce everyone's spirituality in favor of blindly pushing a fascist religion onto them sure seems pretty corrupt to me.

DewDrew, I don't know whether you are aware of it, but the vast majority of the threads you've started are accusatory.

The scriptures that you have posted have all been quite negative and focused on accusing people of being sinful and corrupt.

Why focus on that?

Isn't there anything good in the Bible?

Is it nothing but an obscession with accusing men of being sinful?

It that all the Bible is? Nothing but a huge blanket accusation without even knowing anything about the people it is accusing?

Why the negative presumption?

It just comes off as being extremely negative to me.

Where's the love?

Where's the creativity?

Where's the positive energy?

When you focus on posting nothing but the negative attributes of the religion you just make the whole religion look extremely negative.

How does that benefit anyone?
