This question always seems to come up in sociology class or similar settings. Its difficult if not impossible for me to define because personally, "good" and "evil" are not distinctive elements. I honestly do not feel that I can successfully sit here and dichotomize any universal truth into specific definitions for "good" and "evil".I can not substitute dualism for polarity. I believe that the sources of good and evil lie within each individual. The two are not at opposition with one another but instead form the completed whole. Its my Yin and Yang, alpha and omega. Not mutually exclusive items but complementary aspects; each contains the seeds of the other. Well said. That is precisely the reason why my personal definitions for good and evil are stated relative to myself only. As you imply, attempting to define them in terms of some “universal truth” is the very thing that crosses the line into dualism.

Right and I just cant do it. Like to me something might certainly be reprehensible and to another, it would just be a normal process in their life or whatever the circumstance might be. So, its just bound to piss someone off. See, we agreed on something.

I think it would only be considered "oxymoronic" if you in fact accepted the premise that devils actually exist and if they do, they are automatically evil or bad. I personally choose not to believe that devils or demons are in fact reality based because this can not be substantiated by any scientifically tangible methodology. In which case my acceptance on blind faith would simply be classified as self-delusional and ridiculous.

If you dont want to specify thats okay. I always get annoyed with people that insist on badgering me about that. It can be personal topic in some cases.

Please in you own words specifiy what you consider the word EVIL to mean? then Please specifiy in your own words what the word GOOD means to you? I would prefere to have it be your own words but if you can not speak from the heart without quoting one of the many 'good books' please use them. I consider the Draco Queen to be the most evil living thing in the galaxy.
