Mandarin with me? I have some cds and programs to share and a few ideas of how to get this started. It would be more fun with a group who really want to learn the language!

I would love to learn Mandarin Chinese but how would you do that online???

I was thinking one can learn it by writing it first. I have books on the symbols and I can write one symbol scan it on my computer then post it up on the photo display to read and practice writing. So each day we can learn words by writing it.

Then the other alternative is to find a mandarin program that types it on the computer. Still researching on this so when we type we can read it in Mandarin.

Just ideas flowing at the moment, but maybe you can come up with more ideas as we collaborate the possiblities.

well.. I don't have the books..but I will join in... just let me know what you come up with...

I have some books but would like to have a couple of more people to join in who are serious about studying the language each day. That way we can motivate each other to do this.

Also another possiblity is to find a site that allows microphone use. Something Mike and Vanchau(owners of this site) could think about doing if they wish to. That way we can listen how awful we sound trying to speak the language.

Sounds like fun.
