the person they are on their mingle2 photo display when you meet him or her in a coffee shop. He or she actually looks better, yet you sense that he or she isn't honest about themselves.
Would you leave immediately or would you stay to chat? |

I take a crappy picture and have been told that by the people who meet me....so far no one has left me sitting by myself.
And TheCaptain even proposed, so he must have liked what he saw. |

I will stay and talk and see if they still lie some more. Then I am gone.

I wouldnt leave, I'd have a nice talk drink my coffee or whatever, then just never talk again, nothing drama filled or embarassing to anyone.

Since when is anyone not be more appealing in person than in their pic?? (If the pic is really of them)
I find life more attractive than an image of life. If Mz. Universe dressed down to normalize her pic and be non-idolized, fine. |

I agree with many here...most people tend to look better in person than in pictures. It's not a lie, but just how things are. We can hardly help how we photograph.
This can work the other way too. People can sort through their pics and choose the four best pictures they've ever had taken. It's still them, though they don't look like that on a daily basis. That's not a lie either, just a choice not to share every bad hair day with the general public. |
