It's sad to see people looking down on this guy from their high pedestals!

Obama came to his house. Obviously Joe has a dream, that doesn't make him a liar.

I've owed back taxes and have had an unpaid ticket or two, some of which took me a few years to pay off. I have also driven a vehicle around with no insurance. However, that didn't stop me from wanting better. I didn't have to settle there. As a result of dreaming a little big at the time, today my bills are paid, I have insurance, I don't have any outstanding tickets, I have insurance and so on. I still dream big and always want to achieve better. One has to start somewhere, and that's usually by asking a few questions followed by action.

Joe doen't have a dream, he has a fantasy. If he was serious about becoming a plumbing contractor, her should have started by getting his plumbers license!

If you have ever worked with journeymen plumbers as I have, you know how important it is to have proper apprenticeship training and knowledge of the trade. If you F something up, you can make a lot of people sick.

Driving is NOT a right, it is a PRIVILEGE. In Arizona, it is the LAW for you to have insurance.

The guy is a scammer and he has obviously left quite a trail.

Mister, I do it everyday for a living. Nobody starts in the trade having their plumbing license. Most do start though by having some sort of goal. I've also know someone that started a plumbing business directly after completing apprenticeship school. He didn't say he was going to start a business tomorrow. I do believe he said, "It will be a while, I still have a lot to learn".

If I'm not mistaken, he is in the Plumber's Union and still serving out his apprenticeship. When he tops out, he'll have his plumber's license. It's usually a requirement.
 Thats not how he was portraying himself:smile:

How would you handle going from minding your own business one day, to the national spotlight the next. Unfortunately he didn't get time to rehearse.

I really am feeling sorry for the guy. One day he's got a pretty normal life, the next day his entire history is being investigated.

I don't feel a bit sorry for him. He put on an act like he is this BIG ENTREPRENEUR?
He is nothing but a LIAR!
I have no tolerance for liars.
He was driving here without auto insurance. He skips out on paying fines, leaves the state. Skips on paying his taxes.

The guy is a liar and a flake. I sure hope he is not the "typical American". I also hope OHIO pulls his drivers license.

What a LOSER!

I'm not saying he's not getting what he deserved. I'm just acknowledging the impact of your life going all to hell overnight. That's gotta suck.

In my opinion, you make over $250,000.00 a year, and how ever you make it you pay more, if you don't like it try and go to another country and make that.

Everyone that I know that makes over that amount feel that it is a sacrifice they are willing to make now. The country is falling apart or have you guys noticed.

I am a single mother, I work two jobs and am about to get a third and I am struggling to buy gas, food, pay utilities and I am not afraid to say I need a tax cut.

What I don't get is, do all republican make that kind of money, or is it about them think that one day or of they did they wouldn't want to pay more?

No instead I think it is some idealistic notice that will drive us all to the poor house.

this country is overtaxed...not undertaxed...the government spends too much...I repeat...the GOVERNMENT SPENDS TOO MUCH !!...the top 25% of earners...those making $103,000 a year pay 70% do I hear 80%...what about 90%...you've been brainwashed young lady...the government needs to let us keep our money...and STOP SPENDING !!

I repeat we are talking about those who make over $250,000.00, not 100., You people truly amaze me, you want to fight wars for 100 years, but somehow you don't see the connection to being taxed. Tell me what do you make a year and what is the current tax rate on that?

Giocamo's photo
Sat 10/18/08 04:49 PM
are you saying we need top pay more or less ?...the top 1% people who make $365,000 pay 40% of the taxes...I think what you're saying is that people making this kind of money need to pay more...right ?...the tax burden on this group is already high...how much more do you want them to give ?...like I said before...it's not about taxes...it's about the government spending too much...wouldn't you agree with that ?

okay...I read your previous post...now I got it !...what you're saying is that if you make $250,000 you should pay more...well...I've never heard of a country taxing itself intp prosperity ...have you ?...the tax burden they bear is quite healthy now...alot of small businesses will be affected and I'm not too sure that a small business will be hiring MORE people on LESS money...do you ?...show me Obamas model for this economic bonanza...this I've got to see....

Yes, it spent far too much money on a war I didn't agree with from the beginning because I knew it was a personal war waged by a lunatic. You don't want to be taxed more and I want to be able to decide how what little taxes I paid are spent. Neither of us are going to get what we want. Cause if Mc Cain becomes president you may not pay higher income tax, but I bet you every other kind of tax you pay will increase starting with state, sales, insurance, and on and on. so good luck with that.

Just think, if Obama needs to spend that much money campaigning to win an election, How much will he need to run the Country if he is elected?

Record amounts I'm sure.

As usual, only braindeads would miss the point.

The guy was asking the question of raising taxes...I guess he knows what hard times are...like everyone else. (and as the article aludded to)

It's so typical to see this sort of hatred coming from the lunatic left.
