I opened up a letter this morning sent by my employers. My company has been making a huge loss lately and were annoucing that 100 redundancies will have to be made(about a quarter of the total workforce). As i read further, it said all areas of the business will be affected EXCEPT the department i work in. Phew! And now i sit here(at work) with my feet up and posting on this site! Not sure what i did to deserve that. And the point of this thread? I have absolutely no idea.

Well im not going to get too complacent! Even though im sitting here doing very little workwise, i am here READY to work if needed, and thats kinda how things are with what i do. It just seemed a bit stupid to me that they are going to lay people off and here i sit doing nothing.

what you didn't get page#2, dddoooooooooollllllllllll OMG....That was FUNNY! PAGE #2- Those caught at work doing nothing or worse writing on Mingle2 during working hours will be let go on Friday and your paycheck will be deducted $10 for each hour you were on-line this week......Ahhhhhhhhh, Sorry for any inconvenience this may cause you; but we only need people who are actually W-O-R-K-I-N-G!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well i have an internet connection that isnt monitored, as long as i clear the history i am good! And i have done all the work i need to do, i always do. Just the nature of my job is mainly dealing with situations when they arise, so if none arise i dont have much to do.
