Hot and cloudy here today. A few thunderstorms overnight and more excpected later. Still loving the warm weather!

Just typical Alberta weather, wait 5 minutes and it'll change. I always have a pair of longjohns and a parka in whatever I'm driving.
I wish I could send it your way. I need to do a bunch of welding outdoors. I remember someone telling me electricity and water don't mix very well!

We're now getting heavy rain and some far away thunder over here.
Hey Kid... there was a terrible accident at Warden and Lawrence this afternoon at around 4:15. A big rig went through a bus shelter before smashing into a building. One person was dead at the scene and there are at least 7 people injured some with life treatening injuries. The driver of the tractor trailer was taken to the hospital with back and neck injuries. How awful.

That sucks.
The firetrucks and ambulances have been busy on the weekends here lately. Must have something to do with the nice weather and people on the highways. Usually it's pretty quiet around here. I live down the street from the fire hall and the ambulance station is only a block away. I cringe every time they leave. You never know what it might be. |

Lately here there has been so many accident involving tractor trailers. There was one at rush hour this morning at Keele and 401. The cab of the rig burst into flames and they say the driver is lucky to be alive. Speed was the factor they say. There is at least 3 or 4 accidents a week involving tractor trailers lately. What the heck is going on.

 Pheeewwww was quite the ride this morning, was raining very heavy at some places.
I just saw that store on CityPulse news where the rig smashed into yesterday. Play it again Sports,that's where I get my granddaughter's ice skates. Where you see the front of the truck is where people sit to try on their skates. Very sceary. |
