Very true, but dumb people say the funniest of things sometimes. Have you seen the "ONE GLORIOUS PROFILE" thread? That's the premise of the whole thing....and it IS funny. Trust me. I still want NUMBERS, people. How am I supposed to find a girl with a 160 IQ without some NUMBERS??? |

Just make your own numbers, take total post count, divide it by the average amounts of posts it takes them to say anything interesting, and then multiply it by boob size. Oh shut up Papersmile! |

But thank you for the well adjusted comment. I think for me, an IQ range would be nice... but I can figure it out on my own within a fair range in about two hours. Yes, people are trying to date me. I am now considering participating in that rather than being so picky. Of course, what that means is I'm willing to make out and possibly have casual sex,...  But will never ever.... I mean never ever stop looking for the guy who floats my boat in every way and I his.

I found this, which is relatively accurate: IQ Range Classification 140 and over Genius or near genius 120-140 Very superior intelligence 110-120 Superior intelligence 90-110 Normal or average intelligence 80-90 Dullness 70-80 Borderline deficiency Below 70 Definite feeble-mindedness |

Well, it's not really all that hard to get a sort of general idea by what someone says or writes. There are other variables, but I can usually tell fairly quickly if this is someone I want to invest any time in or not. Yes, people are trying to date me. why dont date sites give I.Q test as a way of helping people find a more suitable companion.It only stands to reason that somewhere along the line this will play a factor in compatability. it could be factored in with the mutual match ..so that its not public..i mean i could see someone telling someone else in the the forums..nope i cant date you cause it says right here that youre dumber than a box of rocks..so in that aspect not making it public would be a good thing ..ok i know its not one of those rate my profile or am i pretty questions,but do they have to be..or is intelligence something we dont factor in when choosing a mate... Shouldn't be hard to tell someone's intelligence after a phone call or two. Either they have a brain, or they don't.

I.Q. is only an indicator of relative intelligence. There are some people out there with very high I.Q.'s that are " dumber than a box of rocks " because they have little real world experience. That number is not, in my opinion, a good indicator of how " smart " a person is. Well said. 
Also, a high IQ actually just means that you have the potential to learn something. It doesn't mean that you have learned it. |
