Winx....do you truely believe what you write ?...wow !!! yes she has a heart and something called empathy.A lot of people work hard and when they do have something happen and they need help they do not seek it because of attitudes displayed in this thread. Thank you, Cutemom. ![]() |

its like i said i have no problem helping people who truly need help but there are plenty who abuse the system. my mother has hsd a heart attack, has diabetes, and had her right leg amputated and im sure if she wanted to she could get help but she doesnt want it and at 61 she is still working. I have a lot respect for your mom. ![]() Yes, there are people that abuse the system. There are those that abuse things every chance that they get in every way. But..they are not the majority. |

Giving people a chance at a home is not the problem, it may have compounded the problem, but the main problem is getting upside down on your loan.
Value, it all started with value. Value something too high, buy it at that inflated value, then the value drops, the banks scramble to shore up there investment against the value by raising the variable rates, opps we raised the rate till you couldn't afford the payments ahh shucks. In a market where the price was realistic this piece of legislation wouldn't have caused a single problem. Making home buying more approachable to lower income families is a GOOD thing . . . watching home prices skyrocket out of control and doing nothing about it because your constituents are making money hand over fist is abhorrent. A system that makes the riskiest loans the ones that can inflate the percentage beyond the means of the individual to pay are also poorly designed. My 2 pents. |
