How about nerdy bordering on geeky with not enough cash flow to get geeked xD I do enjoy looking at cooling fans and drooling over freakishly large capacity harddrives with my brother, though Hey aspiegirl, how are ya? Freakishly large capacity hard drives really do it for me I have seven hard drives in my main computer at home. The largest two I have set in a Raid 0 array with a total of 1 terabyte of storage. I have two more set up in another Raid 0 array which has 250 gigabytes of storage. The other three are 80gb, 150gb and 120gb each and I use them for backing up my important data. Bwahaha, it took a lot to not get the 1 terabyte external harddrive when I got my portable one. Settled on 250 gigs . My pathetic computer only has 30 gigs internal and won't let me use Linux because of the stupid monitor :/ New computer, here I come! xD A girl who knows what linux is? That's astonishing all in itself! Kudos to you, but I'm sure there are ways around monitor issues. You'll figure it out. :-) I believe that you guys are talking more along the lines of gamer girls, which are all great and good, just not 'geek girls,' imo. But don't get me wrong, they're all great! I'm just leaning more towards the computer science-esque type. I find it attractive if a girl desires to break away from the hold that Microsoft has over computers nowadays. If a girl can compile her own kernel or speak numbers in a base other than ten, and/or code like the keyboard's on fire, I would melt upon shaking her hand. |

Not so hot with the coding - I've been wanting to learn programming for years but never got around to it. I'm going to start teaching myself Visual Basic soon (with the help of books of course). |
