we had to evacuate last night...we see our neighbors houses on fire but there is so much smoke cant see our house...Fiefighters say its not good

there is a cute guy here who is homeless as well and i got on my knees to pray and he kept saying ""Thank YOU God" Why is that????????????....

Well... the Sesnon fire (that's the one that hit the Northridge/Porter Ranch area) has been reeking havoc for the last couple of days now- almost 9,000 acres have gone up in smoke so far. I came close to crapping myself as the Marek fire (the one that hit near where I live, in the Sylmar/San Fernando area) was supposed to make its way toward my place. But something happened and it's evidently moved somewhere less populated. BTW- they're saying that BOTH fires (as well as the couple that flared up in the Santa Clarita area) were "suspicious" in nature, meaning that they were probably set. And that totally sucks. Sorry to hear about your troubles adirtygirl. Hope the firefighters were able to save your place.

there is a cute guy here who is homeless as well and i got on my knees to pray and he kept saying ""Thank YOU God" Why is that????????????.... I would say he is either thanking God for sparing his life, or he really needs the insurance money

Your house is on fire! --as my house was on fire one time also; my neighbor said,as he patted me "feel better soon" (but, it took me a while.)

Maybe this was the answer he needed to a question he has been praying for. Maybe he needed a new start and this was the best that could be done for his situation. I am very sorry for your house.
