Ok, the price of gas has dropped a bit, oil is less than $100 a barrel.

What happened to food prices?????
It seems that food prices jumped up high like the price of gas over the summer.
Bananas up 10 cents a pound, Green peppers 1.69 a lb, up from last week.Avacados are 2 buck each, lettuce up, Everything seemed to have to jumped since the last time I went shopping.

You can drive...but will starve to death. Sacrifices need to made, right?

It takes longer for the prices of some products/types of goods to catch up with the rest of the economy. But the economy is still crap, even though oil might have dropped a little. Its not ALL about the oil.

Supermarket giants like Woolworths and whatever other supermarket chain's stocks have plummeted...with the err global money market challenges....where do you think they are going to get their profits from, if the share market has gone to sh*te.

It ain't rocket science... they regulate the prices, and availabilty of foods... they own most of the growers ....

Pretty sad when you're already living on Peanut butter and Mac n Cheese. Now I can't even afford that! Guess I need to start growing my own food!
