You have probably already tried this........but what about emailing them without looking at their profile. Maybe their friend helped them to write it and said friend injected more of her into it than the actual profile person. Maybe you'd be pleasantly surprised? I know that's a long shot, but could be a good experiment?

Well, the only profiles I ever look at anymore are the snippets on the same page with the Mutual Match candidates -- and, generally speaking, the entire profile is "I don't know what to write here" or "Anything you want to know, you'll have to ask," or "I'm laid back and easy-going." Not much to work with.

Communication is a HUGE thing for me, and if someone is either too lazy or too ill-equipped to say ANYTHING of substance in their profile -- the ONE opportunity they have to let them get themselves out there, so people can know something about them and who they are (since so few actually post in the forums) -- I just can't muster up the energy to try to pull something "worthwhile" out of them.

If there was truly anything "worthwhile" to be shown, I wouldn't HAVE to pull it out of them -- they would have put it out there for the whole world to see. I mean, if they have any real interest in trying to meet someone.

LOL, my favorites are the ones who say "i'll write something later." and then later never comes...rofl rofl
pfft yea. i can pick vibes from those people: lazy, cant write anything good etc. whoa

or too stupid to string two sentences together, yeah great times there.

Are you attracted to the people who are attracted to you?

I'm not.

It's almost sad that I can look at a person and can tell whether or not they are attracted to me by whether I'm attracted to them.

grumble

I'm rarely attracted to anybody. And if there's any sort of instantaneous physical attraction, say if I see someone with an alluring pic on here, it's almost always immediately nullified by reading their lame excuse for a profile.

Hm. I was planning on going to your profile, reading it, and judging you by it, but hell if I don't have an extra nine hours to spare.
