Of course, 9-11 happened, darlin, I lived and worked right near the Pentagon and the White House, I watched it burn to the ground, I smelled the smoke, I was out volunteering to help the firefighters do their job by collecting water, food, dry clothes, etc. But, if Bush REALLY kept us safe, then I and my son and the rest of this country wouldn't be haunted by those memories forever. Or would we? Thing is, with some people, whether it's terrorists or in your own home or just out living your life in the world, they're gonna do what they're gonna do and there's no stopping them, no matter who you are. And you cannot protect yourself or anyone else from that.

We don't live in a bubble, though at times I wish I did.

If you want to have an intelligent conversation and have people actually take you seriously, you might want to consider being a little less hateful. That's ironic - I see it the other way. I hear the ATTACKS by Palin and McCain. They are exaggerating and untrue. I see Obama doing it less often, more truthful and more respectfully.
