no one in 150 miles wants to talk to me Same here, only mine is 897,000 miles. I can almost understand thats its hard to find someone close for you americans, judging the size of your country. I have 30-35 million people that live within 150 miles of me and i still ended up going out with a girl who lives in Scotland! lol

I can almost understand thats its hard to find someone close for you americans, judging the size of your country. I have 30-35 million people that live within 150 miles of me and i still ended up going out with a girl who lives in Scotland! lol Dan, what's weird about this situation is I live close to Chicago, which is a HUGE city -- and there are many many people from my surrounding area on this site -- I have my search settings at 250 miles maximum, and probably half of the people I see in the Mutual Match candidates and the "People You Might Be Interested In" are either in Chicago or very close to it. Even so, you never see Chicago-area women in the forums, and they don't respond to e-mails (mine, anyway, not that I've even bothered trying in the last year and a half). It's almost like I could go to Canada or Arizona or Washington or anyplace else in the country and people would be glad to see me, but here I'm persons non matcha. Thank God for other sites where the alcoholic single mothers pester me to meet them in one bar after another even though my profile says I don't do that sort of thing....

Apologies for this hijack, OP. These sort of sites are too small to cater for local people in the main i have found, we are all spread out over the world, not just america of course. Some sites are bigger and some are more locale specific. There might be a lot of people on this site but most of them dont post in here, or even read the threads. So, blind mailing becomes your only option, and its about a 1 in 10 chance of a reply at best. And that is even when you put together a well thought out mail, which is interesting, funny, intelligent and unique and which shows you have read their profile fully and that you arent just after sex. And to top it off you could look like Brad Pitt at the same time.
