I'll tell you why i'm not a believer.Why God let the children suffer?Why god let bad things happen to good people?He doesn't have any control until I see some proof he don't exist to me,just a lil story in a black book

I believe...in God and His own Son suffered as well those children will wind up in Heaven no questions asked...the rains falls on the just and the unjust...

With proof what is the necessity for faith?

I have had some awful things happen to me...things you could make an LMN movie about...but I never once blamed God for them...it allows me to talk to people that have been through the same things and I can say I still believe...

I don't believe as Christians do... but I am very spiritual. Without that, this would be a lonely and pointless place for me.

when was the last time you prayed...and not just lip service...but really prayed and asked God to reveal Himself to you..He will you know...He has held me in His arms as I cried like a child...

The rich get richer, and the poor get poorer. What should I believe in??? History, remember break it down and it's his-story. What about cavemen, did they all get banished to hell??? And Jefferey Dahmer...He killed all those people and ate them. If the victims where non-belivers, they went to hell. And Dahmer got saved right before he was killed. Dahmer goes to Heaven, and his victims sent to Hell. Wouldn't that make dahmer God? He decided there fate. Religion was created on fear of death, and still relies on scare tactics... Where is your god now?

right where He has always been..He is the creator and no I don't have all the answers to your questions how could I...I am but a human as yourself...every knee will bow and tongue confess this I do know...

i don't know how much my 2 cents will be worth, but this is the way i've viewed it after my grandpa died:

i blamed myself, i asked God why he had to take him, and I lost my faith until I realized how much of an idiot i was being. It wasn't my fault he had gone, it was just his time, even if he did have cancer. My grandpa always said, "whenever the good lord wants me, he can take me."

and to that i started thinking more...we don't TRULY know where any of this came from. Sure, we can explain the humans, monkeys, deer, chickens, cows etc...but can we explain where the universe came from? The stars, the sky, the earth, etc.?

no, we can't. no matter how much we think we can, we can't, and that's when i realized...

we don't know where all this came from, so anything is possible...why can't God be?

Why is it a problem if someone doesnt believe? I dont have a problem.

If you believe yourself, why do you care that others dont believe the same as you do?

I actually pity people that have faith in a creator and/or a religion, just as much or more than they pity me for not believing. My faith in the fact that all religions are nothing but bullsh1t is as strong as anyone elses faith that any of them are true.

And..what is their to look forward to? While i am alive, the rest of my life. After i die, peace and quiet!

You have some valid points... these are some of the reasons why Christianity doesn't work for me.

.. i find it rewarding to grow along spiritual lines, others do not ... may we all salute the light within, however it is reached - namaste!

I only pity the people that pity me for not believing, as they are truly the ones that deserve it.
