Jeff - you need to talk to your doctor about this, get some advice,
maybe try counseling. Exercise helps, a change of pace, Bass recommended
church, counseling through a pastor. Going to the beach, a park,
meditation, there are lots of ways to deal. I am working on it myself.
If you don't handle it, it handles you. My best friend's husband just
had a heart attack at 58, due to stress, and I just had a scare myself,
due to stress, so am starting to practice what I preach. I need to work
on less stress and more time off and taking time for myself, and not
letting everyone else walk all over me.

You need to start taking charge of your life too, whatever that means
for you. Find something you like doing and then do it. Find a way to
get a handle on the stress, medication can help, all of the suggestions
above, Crash plays piano, volunteer at a nursing home, the elderly
people love the company and it makes you feel good inside. Volunteer at
a food bank, it gets you out with people and gives you something
different to do and making new friends and you feel good because you are
helping people. Take care and feel better.

jp, smashing windows and kneecaps are your answer for getting rid of
stress? That is sad.

exercise works, too. pick up big heavy things, throw ****, run around in
circles, ride a bike. anything that will get your adrenaline going and
wear you out. just don't hurt yourself.

ive noticed recently ive had a harder time coping with stress.. i was
wondering if anyone had any tips

get rid of the stress drivers..if it can't be rid of, manage them..sounds like the stress driver is joblessnes..so get a job...if that can't be done..then manage by getting incomming cash flows..however that may be...there are ways of doing that...the only thing that separates you from someone else that is stress free..has income...is belief
