Was helping a friend move today. While going upstairs with a washer...the lid flung open and hit me in the eye. I believe I am going to have a black eye for work tomorrow. I have a huge bump lol. I am thinking about calling in.

That's a pretty good reason for why you wanna use some sort of restraining device on stuff like doors and sliding cabinets. Heck- packing tape does a pretty decent job at keeping doors closed.

Duct Tape shshh good for everything! Well not the black eye try a steak over it actually they say that will keep it from bruising as bad.

If you applied ice immediately......it may suppress the swelling!!! Hope youre ok!!
