I've posted 2 topics during the last week, but they seem to just go away. What am I doing wrong and how do you add a topic and have it stay here so that I can get to know people here:) I'm new to this, so maybe I'm doing it wrong?

You have friends who go off topic and ramble through 3 pages of it, this in turn interests other people who at least click on it to read, thus keeping it on the recent posting list..................

Nawwwwwwwww, just kidding!! (although that works too)
My advice is to not only post your own topics, but answer others as well. People will begin to get to know you by reading what you answer. If it's a dead night or your topic isn't all that interesting (been there, done that) then it falls off the list pretty quick.

Defo best way is to look thru ur own topics...i struggled when i first came here. It means u dont get loadsa time to look thru new topics that way tho, but once u r happier at finding ur own topics, then u should have time to go thru new recent ones as well.
