If the Government Wiped out your Credit Debt, but told you you couldnt have Credit for 1.5 years Would you take that Deal

I don't have Credit or a Credit card now, so It wouldn't be to my advantage to take that offer. ...However if I knew how long the offer was could for, I'd be tempted to get a credit card, buy a bunch of expensive stuff, THEN take them up on it, but that's a smidgen dishonest, so I probably wouldn't.

Sure would, cash spends just like credit cards and you don't get debt from cash

I agree, i would definitly want my credit wiped out for 1.5 years. Cash is better, you won't owe on that later.

the govt already has a similar program.....except its for 2 years...... they refer to it as chapter 7
