Taking care of my Dad, I came up to him and asked if he was ready to go to bed. He asked "Why?"
(He wanted to argue. He thinks he can still do it himself.) I said, "I don't want to hear "why" I want to hear "yes" or "no." Then I left. Next time I came up to him I asked him if he was ready to go to bed. He said "Yes."

WHY is the word any wise father love to hear, as it show the love to learn by his child.....
a self righteouss father hate the word WHY, as it say rebellion to him, as this father is proud in his own wisdom, and think of himself as god..... which one befit god is in the eye of the mind, as the belief tell the thoughts, and the thoughts tell the heart, and the heart tell of the man, not god........ |

Why are you asking me why?....... I'm really bad at wanting to know why. It was a sort of bone of contention between my ex and myself. My need to try to figure out the why's of everything. I did learn that sometimes there is no logical explanation and it is just what it is. Took a lot of pressure off myself when I started to let some of the lesser points go by without asking. They did that to my first husband. They gave him some sort of hallucinogenic drug for some experiment in the heat of the Viet Nam War. (Excuse me, police action.) They really messed a lot of our soldiers up. My second husband was also screwed up by the military. (Uncle Sam sends home damaged goods and expects them to live normal lives.) I decided I can't fix them, and the marriages would not work. jb |

no good father does not answer any WHY, when WHAT IS ASKED IS TO KNOW HOW TO LOVE "ALL" OTHERS, lol...... how can one LOVE ALL OTHERS, LESS ONE ASK TO SEE "WHY" ALL PEOPLE DO ALL THINGS THAT LOOK AS EVIL, and HOW THESE THINGS can make for GOOD? professed christians try to do what no man can do, love what it think is evil, lol....... guess this WHY could only come from one that seen there was distain within self of others, lol......... if there is a god to any, than is the minds image of god as HOLY and PURE the god that exists? if it was, WHY does this god MAKE the earth to continue, with all the things MAN CALLS IMPURE.......... GUESS MANS MIND IS NOT THE SAME AS GODS MIND, WHICH IS ALL KNOWING, LOL..... NOTHING IS IMPURE TO A PURE GOD.......... |
