His life was the war.
The things he saw he could not ignore.
Night and day he could hear the missiles roar.
His life was reality and hardcore.

He could hear the sound.
The guns shot off each round.
Each time it made his heart pound.
As he watched his men hit the ground.

The things he witness was gory.
Someone lost a friend named Cory.
His life was his story.
He gave all for Old Glory.

He always stood tall.
At times his back was against the wall.
He refused to let his men fall.
There were times they had to crawl.

The soldiers all have one goal.
It lays deep down in there soul.
It keeps them from losing control.
But war does take its toll.

Our troops consist of women and men.
They all know that now and then.
Another life will be lost again.
Each day they pray and say amen.

They thank God as they see the morning light.
Knowing they have made it through another night.
Each night the prayers they will recite.
Keep there families safe and to know there alright.

In our eyes they will always be like kings.
They do so many things.
It is hard to listen as the Angels sings.
Knowing they now have earned there wings.

Each time you look up and see a white dove.
Remember and always be proud of.
The one you will always love.
Will be there waiting, for you in heaven above.

Angus, may his family find peace in knowing that he will never be
forgotton. He is one of God's Angels now. When someone we love becomes a
